Geopolitical Fairies

That year Vilnius was selected as European Capital of Culture. I was invited to participate with APPETITE for the Art Vilnius (art fair), and with a performance at the Vilnius Graphic Art Center, followed by projecting a selection of video art from Argentina.

When I met Joana Gelazyte, she said she wanted to be a performance artist but had never done any performance. I think that doing is the key to becoming, so I invited her to perform with me.
The concept of “Geopolitical Fairies” was to inspire a conversation about cultural/ mythological and geopolitical differences and to explore the process by which mythology yields to revelation. The performance included a video that was projected onto us, as well as my interaction with the public.
