Thanks to the kick-ass energy of Appetite’s iconoclastic owner, Daniela Luna, a gang of its trash artists stormed this year’s Frieze art fair, causing a mass frenzy abroad not so different from the round-the-clock buzz the uber contemporary space has garnered here at home since its conception in 2005. After a sell-out performance at May’s ArteBA, Luna is devoting a large part of the reminder of 2009 in the sister space in Brooklyn (does she ever sleep?), though the mother ship will hurtle recklessly ahead as always – we shouldm’t have it any other way. If you can’t make it to the space (which bears a severe likeness to crammed art school hallways), at least have a look at their website – you’ll get the idea.
